Types of Commercial Wall Coverings
There are three different types of commercial wall coverings based on weight and durability of the print media. These commercial wallpaper options are different than your standard residential wallpaper options, which are typically too lightweight and delicate for long-term use in public spaces.
TYPE I:Designed for use in areas of light or moderate traffic and typically weighs 12-19 oz. per linear yard.
TYPE II: Designed for use in high-traffic areas such as public spaces and typically weighs 20-28 oz. per linear yard.
TYPE III: Designed for use in the heaviest traffic areas where greater protection is needed and typically weighs 33-36 oz. per linear yard.

13 unique textured vinyl surfaces with an optimized white point for superior inkjet imaging. These represent the core of the DreamScape line and are suitable for all wall projects. Includes classics such as Suede, Matte, Mystical and Canvas.
Rather than use the term “repositionable” to describe WallWraps, it’s more appropriate to describe the product as “permanently removable”. The advanced adhesive employs microsphere technology, which allows the wallcovering to be applied and reapplied many times over without any sacrifice in sticking power.
Wall+Floor Wraps are extremely dimensionally stable due to the 3-ply technology found only in this product. High-end polymeric vinyl, married with stable fabric support and backed by industry-leading repositionable adhesive is a recipe for perfection.
Speaking of perfection, it’s safe to say that most walls are imperfect to a degree, and WallWraps have the unique, inherent ability to render those imperfections virtually invisible.
Dreamscape’s Wall+Floor Wraps sustainability properties remain consistent with DreamScape’s belief in safe, environmentally friendly products. All Wall+Floor Wraps are phthalate-free and feature clean vinyl technology.
Sterling Special Effect Metallic Peel & Stick Wallcovering
Sterling is a special effect metallic wallcovering designed to create eye-catching graphics and transform ordinary surfaces. The shimmering finish adds depth, dimension, and the appearance of custom metal without the cost and complexity of replacing existing materials.
Built with a repositionable peel & stick adhesive, Sterling installs easily, aligns cleanly, and removes without leaving adhesive residue behind. With Novalon® there are no sacrifices like there can be with other PVC Free products. Novalon® provides superior embossing depth and definition, high level durability characteristics, and the same installation ease professionals have come to expect from commercial wallcovering.
For more than 4 decades, wallpaper experts have been striving to create something that is comparable to PVC without compromising weight, durability and price.

DreamScape’s sustainable wallcovering product, Terralon, has been an industry-leading, PVC-free vinyl alternative for some time. As it is made from 31% post-consumer recycled content and is highly breathable, the Earth-friendly product has resulted in the repurposing of over 14 million plastic bottles since its introduction, and that number is constantly increasing. The substrate is not only incredibly attractive, it’s also extremely receptive to all common print and ink technologies and adds a unique life to digital designs.
Most users of Terralon are familiar with the original, lightly textured product and have found it suitable for most interior applications. However, there are actually three different versions of this amazing wallcovering that range in texture from heavily textured to flawlessly smooth.

Bling

Bling! Beads are metallic enriched which allows inkjet machines to combine typical CMYK ink and create a whole new set of sparkling colors. The metallic particles in the base film will mix nicely with the spray of solvent inkjet to give any color a metallic dazzle.
For the first time in the digital print industry you can create Gold, Silver, Bronze, Copper and more. Create stunning new wallcovering or POP displays. Commercial wallcovering grade material is a 2 ply product with a Glass Bead embossing on the printable surface. This product carries Type II certification for scrubbability, tensile and tear (medium to heavy duty). This product is Class A fire rated and meets NFPA ratings for smoke development.

Satara Pearl combines a unique embossed surface along with a proprietary pearl coating. The result is a more subdued, yet highly sophisticated and luxurious sheen. Satara Pearl looks and feels like fabric – but it is in fact a fully functional commercial vinyl. Most metallic base materials in the inkjet print world are limited to UV curable systems, but Satara Pearl is compatible with all major inkjet technologies – Solvent, Eco-Solvent, Latex and UV. Satara Pearl will help designers achieve new visual effects while using their existing CMYK ink sets, and is also available in a Satara Steel version. Light ink colors can be blended with the pearl finish to create stunning and convincing metallic highlights. Satara Pearl also meets the digital printing industry’s standards for materials that enhance image impact and color, depth, dimension and durability. These new products are a Type II commercial digital wallcoverings with Class “A” fire ratings. Satara Pearl is ideal for both short run and high-volume digital production applications
